The fact that the remains of all the periods were located along the bank of a natural stream, which was called the Rádl ditch at the begining of the 20

th century and which filled up later, is an interesting phenomenon from a geographical aspect. People exploited and made use of the natural setting. The archeological research was complemented with archaeomagnetic, pedological and geomorphological studies. Samples were taken for archaeobotanical research. Paula Zsidi
