4. kép: Sírkő Figure 4: Gravestone téskor. A 80-100 centiméter széles építmény belső mérete 25 centiméter volt, a víz vezetésére vastag, téglaszínű terrazzoval bélelt. Tetejét sima kőlapokkal fedték, melyeknek maradványait néhány helyen még feltárhattuk. A sírok többsége követi a vízvezeték irányát, sőt, néhány sír nyugati oldalát magának a vízvezetéknek oldalfala alkotta. A north-south oriented water conduit was unearthed in several parts of the surveyed area and we could follow an approximately 25 m long contiguous stretch during the rescue excavations on the Váradi Street. The inner width of the 80100 cm broad construction measured 25 cm, the water ran within a thick, brick-coloured terrazzo lining. The top was covered by smooth stone slabs, some fragments of which could be unearthed in some places. The majority of the graves followed the direction of the water conduit, and in some cases, the side wall of the conduit was used as the western wall of the graves. Based on an trench opened in an east-west direction, it seems that the water conduit was also the western border of the burials although it functioned in an earlier period.
