Egyrészről a m. kir. államkincstár nevében a ni. kir. pénzügyminiszter és másrészről a Hungárián Oil Syndicate Limited nevében eljáró D'Arcy Exploration Company Limited között a követvetkező, mindkét felet kötelező feltételek mellett egyezmény köttetett. 1. Az egyrészről a m. kir. államkincstár nevében a m. kir. pénzügyminiszter és másrészről a vezetése alatt álló szindikátus nevében eljáró D'Arcy Exploration Company Limited között Londonban 1920. évi október hó 20-án kötött egyezményben kikötött három éves opciós időszak 1923. évi december hó 22. napján lejárt anélkül, hogy a szindikátus által végzett kutató fürások bármelyike kedvező eredményt adott volna, és anélkül, hogy a szindikátus az egyezményben tervezett részvénytársaságot megalakította volna. Ennélfogva az elől említett egyezmény által a szindikátusra átruházott összes kutatási jogok 1923. évi december hó 22. napján költségmentesen visszaszállottak a magyar államra. Tekintettel azonban arra, hogy a szindikátus hajlandó az ország egyes területein három évet meg nem haladó további opciós időszakon belül, amelyet attól a naptól kell számítani, amely napon a magyar nemzetgyűlés tudomásul vette a m. kir. pénzügyminiszternek azt a jelentését, Agreement Between the Royal Hungárián Minister of Fináncé on behalf of the Roytil Hungárián Treasury on the one hand and The D'Arcy Exploration Company Limited acting on behalf of the Hungárián Oil Syndicate Ltd. on the other hand an Agreement has been made on the following conditions which shall be binding upon both parties. 1. The Option period of 3 yearsstipulated in the Agreement made 20th October 1920 in London between the Royal Hungárián Minister of Fináncé on behalf of the Hungárián Treasury on the one hand and the D'Arcy Exploration Company Limited acting on behalf of a Syndicate to be under their management on the other hand. expired on the 22nd Dec. 1923 without having fávourable results in any of the boreholes made by the Syndicate and without the Syndicate having förmed the Limited Liability Company contemplated in the Agreement. Therefore all the search rights transferred to the Syndicate by the above mentioned Agreement re verted on the 22nd Dec. 1923. free "of charge to the Hungárián State.
