B) Nagy-Británia és Irhon egyesült királyságban olyan irodalmi vagy művészeti mű szerzője vagy kiadója, a mely mű a jelen szerződés hatályba léptének napja előtt jelent meg először: jogának megsértése ellen minden törvényes segélyre fel van jogositva, de ha a jelen szerződést hatályba léptető kormányrendelet kihirdetésének napja előtt bárki is jogosan tett közzé valamely művet az Egyesült királyságban, azok a jogok vagy érdekek, a melyek ilyen közzétételből származnak vagy ezzel kapcsolatosak — a mennyiben az említett napon még fennállanak és értékkel birnak — meg nem szűnnek és rövidséget nem szenvednek. IX. czikk. A jelen szerződés rendelkezései alkalmazandók Ő Brit Felségének összes gyarmataira és külbirtokaira, kivéve a következőket: India, Canada területe, Newfoundland, Cap-föld, Natal, New-Sout-Wales Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, South-Australia, Western-Australia, New-Zealand. Mindazonáltal a jelen szerződés rendelkezései alkalmazandók lesznek a fent nevezett gyarmatok és külbirtokok közül azokra, a melyekre nézve ezt Ő Brit Felségének Ő Császári és Apostoli Királyi Felségénél levő képviselője a jelen szerződés megerősítésére vonatkozó okmányok kicserélésének napjától számított két éven belül bejelenti. In the United Kingdom of Great Britain aud Ireland — The author and publisher of any literary or artistic work first produced before the date at which this Convention comes intő effect shall be entitled to all legal remedies against infringement; provided that where any person has, before the date of the publication of the Order in Council putting this Convention intő effect, lawfully produced any work in the United Kingdom, any rights or interests arising from or in conection with such production, which are subsisting and valuable at the said date, shall not be diminished or prejudiced. The provisions of the present Convention shall apply to all the Colonies and foreign Possessions of Her Britannic Majesty, excepting to those hereinafter named, that is to say, except to — India, The Dominion of Canada. Newfoundland. The-Cape. Natal. New-South-Wales. Victoria. Queensland, Tasmania. South-Australia. Western-Australia. New-Zealand. Provided always that the provisions of the present Convention shall apply to any of the abovenamed Colonies or foreign Possessions on whose behalf notice to that effect shall have been given by Her Britannic Mayesty's Representative at the Court of His Imperial and Royal Apostolié Majesty within two years from the date of the exchange of ratifications of the present Convention. Article X. The present Convention shall remain in force for ten years from the day on which
