Citizens of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, who shall reside in a permanent manner in Siam, shall for the present do so only in the city of Bangkok, or within a limit defined by the following boundaries viz: 1. On the North. By the Bang Putsa Canal from its mouth ön the Chow Phya River to the old city walls of Lobpury, and a straight line from Lobpury to the landing place of Tha Phrangam near to the town of Saraburi on the River Pasak. 2. On the East. By a straight line drawn from the landing place of Tha Phrangam, to the junction of the Klonkut canal, with the Bangpakong River; the Bangpakong River from the junction of the Klongkut canal to its mouth; and the coast from the mouth of the Bangpakong River to the Island ofSrimaharajah, so such distance inland as can be reached within twenty four hours journy, from Bangkok. 3. On the South. By the Island of Srimahajarah and the island of Se-Cháng on the East-side of the Gulf, and the city walls oí Petchaburi on the west-side. 4. On the West. By the western coast of the Gulf to the mouth of the Meklong River, to such a distance inland, as can be reached within twenty four hours journey írom Bangkok. The Meklong River from its mouth to the City walls of Rajpuri a straight line from the city walls of Rajpuri to the town of Suphana pun ; and a straight line from Suj hanapuri to the m<nith of the Bangputsa canal on the Chow Phya river. But Citizens of the Austro-Huug»rian Empire may reside beyond these boundarie.s, on obtaining j/umission to do so, from the Siamese authorities. AH Citizens of the Austro-Hungarian Empire királyi consulsághoz fordulnak, hasonló eljárást kövessenek, t. i. először a siami hatóságok közbenjárását veendik igénybe, melyek hasonló eljárásra kötelesek. V. CZIKK. Az osztrák-magyar monarchia alattvalói, kik Siambau állandóan kivannak letelepedni, ezt jelenleg csak Bangkok városában vagy azon kerületben tehetik, mely az itt megállapított határokon belül esik ugy mint: 1. Észak felé. A Bang Putsa csatornának a Chow Phia folyóba nyiló torkolatától kezdve Lobpuiy régi város faláig és Löbpurytól egyenes vonalban Tha Thraugain kikötő helyig Saraburi városa mellett a Pasak folyó partján. 2. Kelet felé. Egyenes vonalban Tha Phrangam kikötő helytől a Klongkut csatornának Bangpakong folyóba szakadásáig ; a Bangbakong folyó hosszában annak egyesülésétől a Klongkut csatornával egész torkolatáig, azután a tengerparton Bangpakong folyó torkolatától Srimaharajah szigetéig, oly távolsággal a tengerparttól lefelé, a mennyire Bangkoktól huszonnégy óra alatt el lehet jutnia 3. Bél felé. Srimaharajah szigete és a Se Chang szigetektől az öböl keleti részén Petschaburi váios faláig a nyugati részen. 4. Nyugotra. Az öböl nyugoti partjától Meklong folyó torkolatáig oly távolságban a parttól befelé, a mennyire Bangkoktól huszonnégy óra alatt el lehet jutni, továbbá a Meklong folyó torkolatától Bajpuri város faláig, innen egyenes vonalban Srphannpuri városig és Suphanpuritól gyenes vonalban a Bangputsa csatornának a Chow Phya folyóba nyiló torkolatáig. Az osztrák-magyar állam alattvalói azonban ezen határokon kivül is letelepedhetnek, ha erre a sÁami hai óságok engedélyét kinyerték. Az osztrák-magyar birodalom minden alattvalójának szabadságában áll, az egész Siam királyság
