176 CCCXXXIII SZÁM. competent Siamese Autsorities, may take steps for sending the Crew to their Homes and for preserving and disputing of the wreck and the Cargo and adjusting any legal claims thereon. ARTICLE XVIII. By paying the duties of importation and exportation as after mentioned, vessels belonging to the Austro-Hungarian Empire and their Cargoes shall be free in Siamese Ports of all taxes of tonnage, PIIotage, Anchorage, and of any other tax whatever, either on their arrival or on their departure. Such vessels shall enjoy all privIIeges and immunities which are or shall be granted to Junks and to Siamese vessels themselves, as well as to the vessels of the most favored nations. ARTICLE XIX. The duties to be levied on merchandize imported by vessels of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy into the Kingdom of Siam, shall not exceed three • percent on their value. They shall be paid in kind or in money at the choice of the Importers. If the Importer cannot agree with the Siamese officer, as to the-value of the imported merchandize, a reference shall be made to the Imperial and Royal Consular officer and a competent Siamese functionary, who after haver having each called in for consultation one or two merchants as advisers, if they shall thiuk II necessary, shall settle the difference, according to Justice. After the payment of the said import duty of three per Cent the merchandize may be sold by wholesale or retait, free of any other tax or charge whatever. Should merchandize be landed, and not sold, and be again shipped for exportation, the whole of the duties paid on them shall be reimbursed. No duty shall be levied on any cargo not sold. And no further duty, tax, or charge shall be imposed or levied, on such imported merchandize, when it has passed into the hands of Siamese purchasers. ARTICLE XX. The duties to be levied on Siamese produce, either before or at the time of shipment, shall be according to Tariff, annexed to the present Treaty. ket megtehesse a legénység hazaküldése, a hajórom és a rakomány fentartása, az avval való rendelkezés, es a törvényes igények kielégítése czéljából. Az alól emiitett be- és kiviteli vámok fizetése mellett az osztr.-magyar birodalomhoz tartozó hajók és azok rakománya a siami kikötőkben, ugy a be-, mint a kimenetnél minden tonna-kalauz és horgonypénztől, vagy bárminemii más adózásoktól mentek lesznek. IIy hajók mindazon szabadalmakat és kiváltságokat fogják élvezni, melyeket most vagy jövőben, akár yuok-ok és saját hajói, akár a leginkábk kedvezményezett nemzetek hajói élveznek vagy élvezni fognak. XIX. CZIKK. Azon áruktól fizetett vám, melyek az osztrákmagyar monarchia hajóin hozatnak a siami királyságba, a becsérték három százalékánál nagyobb nem leend, és a bevivő választása szerint természetben vagy pénzben fog fizettethetni. Ha a bevivő a siami tisztviselővel valamely bevitt áru becsértéke iránt meg nem egyezhetnék, felebbezésnek lesz helye a es. es kir. coiisulatusi tisztviselőhöz és az IIletékes siami hivatalnokhoz, kik miután szükség esetében mindegyikök egy vagy két kereskedőnek, mint szakértőnek véleményét kikérték volna az ügyet az igazság szerint döntendik el. Az emiitett három százalékos beviteli vám lefizetése után az árut menten minden további adózástól és terheltetektől nagyban és kicsinyben árulhatni. Ha áruk kirakatván, el nem adattak, és kivitel czéJjából újra hajóra rakattak, az érettök fizetett egész vám visszatérítendő. Átalában el nem adott rakományok után vám nem fog szedetni. Egyszer bevitt árukra, további vámok, adók, vagy terhek nem fognak rovatni, ha azok siami vevők kezeibe mentek át. XX. CZIKK.
