164 HOITTI LÁSZLÓ Vasjugan Ostyak Texts by LÁSZLÓ HONTI The Soviet ethnographer and linguist L. I. KALININA has published texts from Eastern-Ostyák dialects spoken along the river Vasjugan in volumes of H3biKH H TonOHHMHÍI CH6HPH (TOMCK 1966, 1970). Since longer cohérent texts from this dialect ha ve not been at our disposai so far, it is désirable to make Kalinina's texts available for further studies. The original records of Kalinina are rather spuerficial and uneven and her matériái was published in Cyrillic transcription which has been preserved — with minimal corrections and emendations — in the présent paper, there fore is also a phonemic transcription of OUT own with Latin characters added to the texts. The Hungárián translation is based on the original Ostyak texts, but Kalinina's Russian translation was also taken intő considération when it was necessary. The word stock of the texts is given in the glossary at the end of the paper.
