The administrative subdivision applied in the volume corresponds to the administrative subdivision of the 1992 Románián census; the historical time series on ethnic composition were provided by the Románián CSO in the same subdivision. 5) The volume contains an index of settlements, with adjacent coloumns giving the Hungárián name - Románián name and the Románián name - Hungárián name of the settlements, as well as the page numbers where the data for the individual settlement is to be found.
