1996. ÉVI MIKROCENZUS A mezőgazdaság jelentősége a foglalkoztatásban (1998)
BEVEZETŐ
The consequences based on the 1996 microcensus are confirmed in every respect by the information obtained from the 1994 pilot census (in terms of agricultural work and land use). Based on these data sources it can be pointed out that the group of active earners could be considered greater by 300-400 thousand people than their number counting in only their main activity - taking into account auxiliary agricultural work. Agnculture could be an important support for those who are squeezed out from the labour markét. Moreover, it should be emphasised that agriculture has a determining role in the life of a wide rangé of people. The accumulated expertise should not be left out of consideration, too. Use of this expertise in a flexible way could promote the accession process to the European Union. 16
