TARTALOM

Az 1996. évi mikrocenzus eredményeit a Központi Statisztikai Hivatal kötetsorozatban teszi közzé. E sorozat első kötete A népesség és a lakások jellemzői című kiadvány, amely az összeírás legfontosabb eredményeit foglalja össze. A jelen kötet részletes információkat nyújt a 15-29 éves fiatalok demográfiai, iskolázottsági jellemzőiről, foglalkoztatottsági helyzetéről, családi körülményeiről. A kiadvány összeállításakor figyelembe vettük, hogy az 1996. évi mikrocenzus eredményeit bemutató, már eddig megjelent, illetve megjelenés alatt álló kötetekben (pl. a foglalkoztatottság alakulása, a munkát keresők, munkanélküliek helyzete, a háztartások lakáskörülményei) számos, az ifjúságra vonatkozó információ is megtalálható, így a jelen kötetben csak a legfontosabb adatkombinációkat közöljük. A kiadvány a kötetben használt fogalmak leírásának egy szűkített körét közli, a részletes fogalommagyarázatot A népesség és a lakások jellemzői című kötet azonos fejezete tartalmazza. * The results of the 1996 microcensus are published in a series of volumes by the Central Statistical Office. The first volume of the series is the publication entitled "Population and Housing Characteristics", which summarizes the most important results of the survey. The present volume provides detailed information on the demographic and educational characteristics, occupational conditions and family circumstances of young people aged 15—29. While compiling this publication, had to take into account that in volumes already published and under publishing respectively presenting the results of the 1996 microcensus — e.g. development of employment, condition of the unemployed and those seeking employment, housing conditions of households — can be found plenty of information relating to young people, thus the present volume provides merely the most important crosstables focusing on this specific population group. A narrowed glossary is published in the present volume, while the whole rangé of the concepts and explanations can be found in the appropriate chapter of the volume "Population and Housing Characteristics". 9
