In separate work-processes of the computers have been prepared the communication tables and the more detailed processing tables. The latter are made available to the research workers demanding more elaborate data, by the Census Department of the Central Statistical Office, on request. The codes referring to the regional breakdown recorded in the electronic data processing tables are the following: 1. Census district; downtown and outskirts' areas. 2. Rows of the communities (without any combination, of each community a row, indicating the most important data). 3. The communities one by one; Budapest and the county towns by districts; other towns one by one. 4. Budapest and the county towns by districts, other towns one by one, the communities of the counties together. 5. Budapest aggregated; the county towns one by one, towns and communities of the counties together. 6. Budapest, towns (without Budapest) and communities. 7. Country, total. In the volumes showing disaggregation according to the census district (volumes marked with a/) the regional breakdown within the settlements is the following: Central downtown areas Other downtown areas Outskirts to be developed Other outskirts. Data corcerning the central downtown areas were published by census districts, those concerning other areas, in addition to the census districts, also by regional units, with the denomination of the latter. In towns, the aggregate data of the census districts are also published by town planning districts and subdistricts. 61
