I. THE COMPREHENSIVE REWIEV OF THE DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING - 3. The programme of the census

Thus for instance the part entitled "The data of the building" is larger in that it includes also data concerning the roofing and the reparation of the building. The three tables included to the formula A of the part entitled "The data concerning the dwelling" are completed by the following five tables: d/ extension, reconstruction, modernization of the dwelling e/ heating, supply with hot water, kitchen stove f/ the number of rooms and kitchens according to the type of the pavement g

/ consumer durables to be found in the dwelling; telephone, built-in furnitures h/ cottage, week-end house. The first three tables were enlarged with the following questions. In the Table a/

: "general data", the location of the dwelling and the year of occupancy by the ancient resident of the dwelling has also been asked. The Table b

/ has been completed, in addition to the number of the localities, by the question referring to their floor-space. The Table c

/ is essentially conform to the respective part of the formula A, with the exception anyway that it has been enlarged by a question concerning the means of the removal of rubbish. Inquiry list of individuals (Personal questionnaire, formula C) Of each inhabitant either officially registered by police form or being present without any registration at the census moment, an inquiry form of individulas had to be filled in. This form was printed in green and was applied in 75 per cent of the census districts. The number of the questions amounted to 22, with the complementary questions to 40. The inquiry list of the individulas consists of 3 parts: I. General data referring to the person registered (to be filled in by each person separately). II. Data referring to the educational level of the persons registered. (Only the persons born in 1963 or earlier - i.e. the persons being six years old and more - had to be included. III. Occupational data of the person registered. (Only the persons born in 1955 and earlier had to be considered.) Among the general data, the surname and family name, the date of birth, the family status, the relation of the person to the head of the household, the presence or absence, permanent or temporary domicile, the reason for the temporary registration, the mother tongue as well as the number of liveborn children of the registered person was inquired. In the second part the educational level (secondary and higher school education), diploms as well as the present school attendance were shown. The questions referring to the obtention of the certificate of vocational training has been also included to that part. In the third part, at first the economic activity of the person registered has been questioned. Active earners were asked about their occupation, main activity, appointment, sphere of activity, occupational status and quality as well as about their employer and work-place.
