Anyagvizsgálat - Gyulai Ferenc: Élelmiszermaradványok vizsgálata

FOOD-REMAINS TESTING Abstracts: The food-remains can be found separately (e.g. mush, bread-remains) of connected with objects) stuck to the surface of metal artefacts or pottery and pottery- fragments inside). These food-remains carry a lot of information, their determination help to understand the lifestyle of the given era. The organic residues are usually unstable, the microorganism breaks them down very quickly. But in special circumstances (carbonization by fire, under water, a very extreme dry climate) they might survive. The advanced microscopical techniques and instrumental analytical chemical experiments of recent decades made the correct interpretation of the sporadic finds possible, specific and different, it explains that universally, the methodology to be followed has not been established yet accordingly with the complex testings of analysing food-remains. The author describes the analysis of the organic materials exposed in Balatonmagya- ród-Hídvégpuszta, in the tumulus-culture waste-pits.
