THE HEREND PORCELAIN MUSEUM

Abstract: The author, who is the manageress of the Porcelain Museum, gives a brief description of the development of European porcelain and the process of producing porcelain.

After this, she describes the history of the establishment of the porcelain manufacturing business by Herend, the greatest age of porcelain production, the characteristics of the manufacturing of porcelain, of its development, and the present ambitions of the factory and the museum.
