Tóth Márta Egy empire ruha restaurálása A ruha, amely értékes és jellemző darabja a XIX. századi viseleti anyagnak, egy kripta feltárása során került eló, szakadozottan, hiányosan és igen szennyezetten. A kezelést anyag- vizsgálat előzte meg, mely segítséget adott a kezelőszerek és kiegészítő anyagok megválasztásában. A tisztítást szétfejtett állapotban végezte a restaurátor, előbb mikroszkóp alatt mechanikus utón, majd széntetraklorid: Evamin CC : desztillált viz 3:1:5 arányú emulziójával. Ezt követte a restaurálás, melynek során a vékony, gyenge anyag alátámasztást kapott megfelelő szinűre festett selyemből. Különös gondot jelentett a ruhán levő, erősen szakadozott selyemtüll csipke és a gyenge, törékeny selyem diszitések helyreállitása. Márta Tóth Restoration of an Empire Dress of the 19. Century The dress which is a very -valuable, and characteristic sample of customes of the XIXth century, was tom, incomplete, and very soiled when it found occasion of discovery of a crypt. The handling was preceded with the testing of materials which afforded assistance to the selection of handling appliances and complementary materials. The restorer performed the cleaning at the unstitched condition of the dress. At first by mechanical way, later, with emulsion of Carbon tetrachloride : Evamin CC : destilled water in the proportion of 3 : 1 : 5. That process was followed with the restoration when the thin, weak material was underlined with the suitable coloured silk. There was a difficult trouble the repairing of the rather torn silk-tulle laces, and the weak, delicate silk decoration of the dress.-231-
