1980 október: Országos Múzeumi és Műemléki Hónap a műtárgyvédelem jegyében A hagyományossá vált múzeumi hónap 1980. évi rendezvénysorozatait egy adott témakörhöz igazodva szervezték meg az ország jelentősebb múzeumaiban: a műtárgyak védelmével kapcsolatos múzeumi munkákkal ismerkedhettek meg a látogatók. Előadások mellett természetesen az időszaki kiállításokon keresztül. A Budapesten és jelentősebb vidéki városokban (Miskolc, Székesfehérvár, Barcs, Eger, Pécs stb.) megrendezett kiállítások restaurátori tevékenységről is számot adtak. Az alábbiakban a műtárgyvédelemmel kapcsolatos kiállítások általános ismertetésén kívül főleg az egyes szakterületek (pl. régészet, néprajz), illetve egyes múzeumok restaurátormühelyeiben folyó munkák eredményeit veszik szemügyre munkatársaink, akik részben a kiállítások megrendezésében is közreműködtek. OCTOBER, 1980: MONTH OF NATIONAL MUSEUMS AND MONUMENTS IN THE SPIRIT OF THE PROTECTION OF MUSEUM ART OBJECTS The programme series of 1980 of the traditional museum month were organized conforming to a given theme in the most important museums of the country; the visitors could become acquainted with the museum work connected with the protection of objects of art by the lectures and, of course, through the periodical exhibitions. These exhibitions organized in Budapest and in the more important country towns (Miskolc, Székesfehérvár, Barcs, Eger, Pécs, etc. ) gave account of the activity of restorers, too. Besides the general information on the exhibitions connected with the protection of objects of art, our members, who collaborated partly also in the organization of these exhibitions, give in the following a survey mainly of the results obtained in certain special fields (e. g. archeology, ethnography) and in the works of the restoration workshops of some museums, respectively. 178
