Hervai Istvánná József nádor öltözékének restaurálása A dolgozat első felében József nádor életéről és tevékenységéről a budavári Palotában elhelyezkedő családi kriptáról, annak feltárási körülményeiről szerezhetünk tudomást. A második részben József nádor díszmagyarjának pontos leírása, és az abban felhasz- nált anyagok korabeli gyártástechnikájának ismertetése következik. A későbbiekben a restaurálás előtti állapotról, a korrodálódás mértékéről és okáról, illetve a restauráláshoz szükséges anyagvizsgálatokról kapunk képet. Végül a bebalzsamozás okozta gyantás szennyeződések, és a himzőszál miatt keletkezett fémkorróziós foltok tisztításának problémáit tárgyalja a szerző, (L. VII. t.) Mrs. Judit Hervai Restoration of the Gala-dress of Palatine Joseph The first part of the paper provides information about the life and activity of Palatin« Joseph, as well as about the family crypt located in the Buda Palace and the circumstances of its uncovering. In the second part of the study a detailed description is given about the Hungarian gala-dress of Palatine Joseph followed by the representation of the period fabrication technology of the materials utilized for it. Later on we get a picture of its state before the restoration, the degree and cause of the corrosion, respectively about the material testings needed for the restoration. The author is finally dealing with the problems concerning the cleaning of the resinous impurities produced by the mummification and the removal of the metal corrosion stains caused by the purls. VII. ) Frau Judit Hervai Restaurierung des Galaanzuges von Palatin Josef Aus dem ersten Teil der Arbeit können wir Informationen über das Leben und die Aktivität von Palatin Josef, weiterhin über die, in der Ofner Burg gebaute Familiengruft und die Umstände ihrer Aufdeckung erhalten. Im zweiten Teil des Elaborats folgen die genaue Beschreibung des ungarischen Galaanzuges von Palatin Josef und die Auseinandersetzung des zeitgenössischen Produktionsverfahrens von Stoffen, die dazu angewendet wurden. Im weiteren können wir ein Bild über die Situation von der Restaurierung, das Mass und die Ursache der Korrosion, beziehungsweise über die, zur Restaurierung notwendigen Materialprüfungen bekommen. Der Verfasser beschäftigt sich endlich mit den Problemen, die bei der Reinigung von harzigen Balsambeschmutzungen und bei der Entfernung von, zufolge des Stickgarnes entstandenen Metallkorrosionsflecken hervorgekommen sind. 80
