Báthy Géza: XVII.századi sárospataki falicsempék rekonstrukciós problémái

Géza Báthy: RECONSTRUCTING PROBLEMS CONCERNING THE XVII. CENTURY WALL-TILES OP SÁROSPATAK Summary In the course of the excavations in Sárospatak, around the Red Tower, coloured wall-tile scraps with vegetal ornaments were brought to the surface. We had pieced together 60 tiles of the scraps based on the reconstructed pattern. A surface of 160 x 230 cm was reconstructed from these tiles. The tiles were set and attached into a 5 cm thick polystyrene foam slat of similar size. This big table was composed of tile and synthetic foam was fixed in a 5 x 5 cm L-shaped duralumin frame, on its back side screwed to the strap which was attached into the synthetic foam. Developing this light- structural, elastic unit we gained an easy portable panel which complies with both of aesthetical and statical requirements.- 129
