Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén Megyei Levéltár (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Archives)
Zemplén vármegye történetéhez (Data to the History of Zemplén County), ed. by Géza Gy. DONGÓ between 1896 and 1927. A survey of the Archives by Imre SOÓS: Zemplén megye levéltára és Kazinczy Ferenc (Zemplén County Archives and Ferenc Kazinczy) in: Borsodi Történelmi Évkönyv (Borsod Historical Bulletin) 1968. A list of archival groups has been published in 1975 in the series Lists of Archival Groups of the Regional State Archives: A Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén megyei Levéltár fondjainak jegyzéke. Budapest, 1975. Research in local history is helped by the series of Borsodi Levéltári Füzetek (Borsod Archival Leaflets), with the numbers hitherto published: Feudális kori összeírások a Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén megyei Levéltárban (Feudal Conscriptions in the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Archives). Miskolc, 1971. — Kéziratos térképek a Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén megyei Levéltárban (Manuscript Maps in the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Archives). Miskolc, 1971. — Feudális kori községi pecsétnyomók a Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén megyei Levéltárban (Feudal village matrices in the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Archives). Miskolc, 1971. * Both at Miskolc and Sátoraljaújhely the research rooms are open from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday to Thursday, from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. There is no research on Saturday. One has to ask permission to research on a form obtainable in the Archives. Also for the material of the archival department one has to apply at Miskolc. To the material of the film archives of the repository there is a rmcrofilm reader at disposal at Miskolc. A film laboratory is installed, to be opened in the near future. The reference library is at hand both at Miskolc and the archival department, to be used according to the library rules. At both places we intend to make the literature of local history as complete as possible. János ROMÁN
