[3.] Ben m’increscono le novelle che a noi vengono dei grande apparecchio e appresta- 20 mento che ’1 Signor Tureo5 fa contro alTUngheria.6 Come che io non posso credere che ’I cielo non gli abbia a levar le forze di nuocerci. Qui abbiamo noi avuto prima la triegua, e poi la pace,7 tra la Maestá dell’lmperadore8 e il Re Cristianissimo,9 tanto sincera e pura e affettuosa che si vede chiaro che Nostro Signore Dio Tha ordita egli. Di che siamo tenuti alia bonitá dei Papa, che ha preso tanto viaggio e disagio, per trame questo fine.
