Brodarics congratulates the Polish King for his victory and says thanks to Tomicki for informing him about it. 2. Tranquillus returned from Constantinople where he arranged eve ty thing according to Sza- polvai’s wishes; it seems that King John is going to send him to Poland; he will provide more detailed news then. He enters the service of János Szapolyai in the autumn of 1527, probably on the recommendation of Hieronym Laski. Later he was Gritti's secretary until the latter’s death in 1534. As such he often travelled between Buda and Istanbul because Gritti did not stay in Hungary most of the time.
