A presumed reference to its use is a passage in the seal clause of the 1075 deed of foundation of the Garamszentbenedek Abbey: Et ut mea recalls institúció futuris temporilms firmitatem obtineat; manu propria subterfirmavi etsigillavi. (DHA, p. 218.) No impression is known. 9. Ladislaus I (1077-1095) Great seal dinm: 75 mm First royal wax seal of the House of Árpád to have survived complete.
