It is mentioned in the seal clause of the 1055 deed of foundation of Tihany Abbey (Pannonhalma, PBFL): Et uthee descriptio rata atque inconvulsa permanent, sißilli nostri inpressione sipnavimusfidelibasque nostris corroborandam tradidimus (DHA, 151, n. 43). The image type may be supposed to be related to the seal of summons bearing Andrew I’s name (Bodor 2001, p. 4). 5. Andrew I (1046-1060) Seal of summons cast, gilded bronze; diam: 60 nun, t: 4 nun, loop height: 9 nun Round, east medal seal. The National Museum specimen has visible remains of gilding and is in better condition than the other known specimen, in Veszprém. Both have a perpendicular suspension loop at the top.
