individuals decreases above 2 m/sec speed, because the larvae are more strongly washed away by water. At the source of the creek, Pilisszentlászló, the level of dissolved oxygen and the number of larvae are low, because the creek is strongly polluted. At the next transects the cleaning of the creek is accompanied with higher oxygen-level and greater number of larvae, finally at the lowest place, Visegrád, the water is polluted again but in smaller extent than at Pilisszentlászló.
