At the time of the preparation of the present paper, Dr. Gy. Sziráki (Buda­pest) is working on Psocoptera and Neuroptera; Dr. G. Jenser (Budapest) on Thysanoptera; Dr. H. Fürsch (Ruderting) on Coccinellidae; Dr. W. Wittmer (Ba­sel) on "Malachiidae"; Dr. X. Vazquez (Barcelona) on Oedemeridae; Mr. Patrice Bordât (Verrières le Buisson) on Aphodiidae etc. Elgon Expedition is one of the recent Hungarian zoological trips to Africa. The report on the previous trip made by dr. A, Vojnits to Kenya in 1991 (Vojnits, in press) ends with No. 434, so the pre­sent list starts with No. 435. No. 435. Nairobi, 1600 m, 5 January 1992, leg.
