SUMMARY The terrestrial isopod fauna of the Hortobágy National Park is poor. All but one species are cosmopolitan, their occurrence was not surprising. Porcellium collicola, however, was not expected here, since this species was known to occur in mountain or foothill forests. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS I am very grateful to Dr. I.
