Marisia XXXVI Vizita de studii a Marelui Voievod Mihai de Alba lulia in judetul Hunedoara loachim LAZÄR The study of visit of the Great Voivode Mihai of Alba lulia in Hunedoara county in june 1935 Abstract The month of June of 2015 marks 80 years since the study visit that the Great Voivode Mihai of Alba lulia made in Hunedoara County. The visit started on June 10, 1935, when the Great Voivode Mihai of Alba lulia, accompanied by his teachers and class mates, arrived on the royal train in the town of Ha{eg. From June 10 until June 19, they visited: the Church from Densu§, the „General Berthelot” Farm from the commune Berthelot, property of the Romanian Academy, the Church from Säntämäria Orlea, the Prislop Monastery, Ulpia Traian Sarmizegetusa, the Baleia Cottage from Retezat, the mining centers from the Jiu Valley (Petrila, Vulcan, Lupeni, Aninoasa), as well as the cities of Petrila and Hateg. From June 19 until June 22, 1935, the Great Voivode Mihai and his class mates visited the State Iron Works from Hunedoara, the Mines from Ghelar, the Brädi§or Mine from Barza, the Manufacturing Plants from Gurabarza, the cities of Hunedoara, Deva, Orä§tie, the Museum of Hunedoara County from Deva, the Museum of the „Mica” Society from Brad, the Dacian fortress from Coste§ti, the Cemetery from Jebea, and the Geoagiu Resort. In all these places, after each visit, the lessons that the students received were both the oretical and practical. The visits made by the Great Voivode Mihai of Alba lulia in Hunedoara County in 1934 and 1935 deeply impressed the young royal off spring. The proof that he had never forgotten these places was the visit of H R M King Mihai I, accompanied by the Queen Ana, in Hunedoara County in 1997. Vizita de studii, din iunie 1935, a fost organizatä de cätre autoritátile judetului, ín frunte cu prefectul Dr. Romulus Miocu. Judetul Hunedoara oferea posibilitatea vizitárii unor objective diverse - monumente istorice, íntreprinderi economice, frumuseti naturale - care íntregeau ín mod fericit lectiile pe care profesorii le-au sustinut elevilor ín diferite locuri din judet. Locatia de bazá pe timpul vizitéi de studii a fost stabilita ín órásul Hateg, centrul frumoasei Tári a Hategului. Trenul regal a sosit ín gara Hateg ín dimineata zilei de 10 iunie, orele 7,30. Prefectul judetului Hunedoara, dr. Romulus Miocu si autoritátile locale au íntámpinat pe Marele Voievod Mihai si suita sa. ín trenul regal generálul Grigorescu a comunicat oficialitátilor judetului itinerarul vizitelor „Marelui 199
