CARABIDELE PTEROSTICHINI (COLEOPTERA: CARABIDAE, PTEROSTICHINI) DIN REFUGIUL JAMAICA

(Rezumat)

Lucrarea de fafä reprezintä primul studiu cuprinzätor al carabidelor din tribui Pterostichini (Coleoptera: Carabidae) din S. Refugiul Naturii Sälbatice Jamaica, de unde au fost colectate si identificate 14 spécii, ce aparpn genurilor Poecilus Bonelli (2 spécii), Stereocerus Kirby (1 specie — S. haematopus (Dejean) si Pterostichus Bonelli (11 spécii), dintre care 13 spécii sunt aborigene, iar specia Pterostichus melanarius Illiger este specie adventivá, introdusä din regiunea Palaearcticä. Multe dintre speciile aborigene sunt bine cunoscute in America de Nord. Au fost obfinute date originale despre biológia si reproducerea speciilor Poecilus lucublandus Say, Pterostichus caudicalis Say, Pterostichus corvinus Dej., Pterostichus mutus Say.
