Botany

Minimum management measures to maintain the favorable conservation status of the habitats and species- rehabilitation of degraded habitats by human activities;- prohibition of the waste abandonment. Entomofauna:- appropriate management of coniferous forests, spruce and pine in particularly;- maintenance of fallen trees;- release of beetles from harvested truffles for consumption or export;- protection of characteristic habitats;- reducing of toxic chemical treatments;- conservation of dry or partially dry pins;- avoiding the overcollection;- prohibition of the use of any insecticides or chemical methods to control pests;- conservation of secular and youngest trees indifferently of their physiological state;- keeping a protected area as large as possible that includes both isolated trees and forest as a massif;- limiting grazing and mowing, because the adults of xylophage species are floricultural;- prohibition of fires in the hollows;- limiting of fireplaces used by tourists;- prohibition of removal of wooden elements detached from the trees or as a results of the fall of trees;- conservation and preservation of dry or attacked trees in the forests;- maintaining of a high biodiversity in forest ecosystems. The bats:- keeping the hollow trees in the exploited areas;- limiting the access of tourists in caves in which there are maternity colonies in April-May;- the use of pesticides and insecticides in reasonable amounts not in excess;- avoid planting the conifers in hilly areas;- keeping the windbreaks of trees and bushes between cultures in the lowlands;- prevent the destruction of summer colonies from the human shelters. Pisces and stone crayfish:- prohibition the storage of any kind of waste near the watercourses;- prohibition the discharge of wastewater into watercourses;- prohibition of hydro facilities and excavation of any kind in riverbeds;- maintain the wooden vegetation near the riversides;- limitation the catchment in the upper areas of the rivers;- limitation the works for recovery of torrents. Amphibians:- maintaining the existing aquatic habitats and creation of a new habitats where it is necessary;- ensure of the dispersion corridors that will allow maintenance of a viable populations. Birds:- regulation of forestry exploitation to ensure optimal conditions of life for all birds populations;- limitation the cutting of shrubs from the forests edge or agricultural areas;- maintenance of old, dry or degradated trees in the forest.
