Most of the pieces arrived at the museum as animals accidentally shot or captured by a variety of individuals, such as Sárkány К. Andrew (curator), Kónya István (Head of Natural Science Department), the master hunter Szombath Stephen, and others. The museum’s current collection has 36 naturalized pieces, 27 trophies, 296 animal skulls and two fur carpets, 16 skins, one head naturalized, a total of 378 mammal pieces, representing 32 species. The main exhibit includes 26 pieces naturalized, 16 skulls and the stark gold medalist trophy from Glodeni. Keywords: mammals, study skins, mounted skins, skulls, trophies, carpet-fur, Mure?
