THE MUSEUM FROM REGHIN,

50 YEARS OF EXISTENCE

During its 50 years of existence, the museum has defined its modern functions: patrimonial-preservative and instructive-educational. The institution grew following a natural continuity, manifested in the preoccupation towards the development of its patrimony, in finding new ways of exposing and evidencing the studied processes. The study shows the national and zonal context in which the museum was founded, in 1 January i960, the development of the collections, from 64 to 6987 pieces, the research activity, the photographic and film archive, the main activities - 128 exhibitions, workshops, festivals, catalogues, the activity of preservation and restauration of the patrimony pieces.
