Conclusions The collection has an important value, first of all, because it emphasizes a part of the patrimony of our museum, secondly, due to the fact that it completes the knowledge concerning the ecology and chorology of some macromycetes from Romania and finally, because of the antiquity of some species (for more than half a century) and the collector’s notoriousness. 46
