Festuco rubrae-Agrostietum capillaris Horvat 1951

Phytocoenoses cover flat land or slightly sloping hills (5°), present in the east and north of the following localities: Saschiz Laslea, Fijer, Beia, Netuy Brädeni, at altitudes between 370-670 m.

The coenoses of this association grow well on brown, podzolic or brown-acid soil, with humus-rich content. Coenoses have a good coverage (90-100%), are tiered and rich in species (164 sp.). Along with the diagnostic species of the association, many species belonging to the high-rank syntaxonomic units can be met, for which the association has been reported, as well as a series of transgressive species from xero-mesophytic and xerophytic grasslands belonging to Festuco-Brometea class (Table 8).
