Cirsio cani-Festucetumpratensis Májovsky ex Ruzicková 1975 The syntaxonomic position of coenoses with Festuca pratensis remains questionable, being reported both in Alopecurion pratensis alliance and Deschampsion caespitosae. The inconsistencies in determining the syntaxonomic position are caused by the fluctuations of the hygrophilic and mesohygrophilic components, sometimes also adding the xero-mesophilic components. They grow on damp land, with high humidity, especially in the vernal season, in the rivers plains, on flat or slightly sloping land. The association is widespread near human settlements, where its expansion is driven by anthropogenic impacts. The constituents of the phytocoenoses have 80-99% coverage. In the studied area they have been identified in hilly level (Table 5) in Laslea, Fi$er and Angofa. The floristic composition consists of 127 cormophytic species. The upper tier of vegetation is composed of the dominan t species themselves, which reach approximately 40-45 cm: Festuca pratensis, Agrostis stolonifera, Alopecurus pratensis etc., and the lower tier is composed of the species: Lotus corniculatus, Trifolium repens, Lysimachia nummularia etc. Other important species are: Agrostis capillaris, Briza media, Holcus lanatus, Leucanthemum vidgare, Stellaria graminea etc. Table 5: Cirsio cani-Festucetum pratensis Májovsky ex Ruzicková 1975 Relevé_____________________________1 2 3 4 5 I 6 I 7 I 8 I 9~ 10_______ Altitude (m s.m.)__________________381 381 391 391 391 582 585 660 596 506 _____ Aspect__________________________ - -- -- -- - - E Inclination--------- 3 Area (m2)_________________________100 100 100 90 100 100 100 100 100 100 _____ Vegetation coverage (%)____________ 90 87 84 88,5 81,5 99 92 99,5 85 96,5 К Car.ass.
