476 Marisia XXIX Paraloid B72 solution in order to stop the attack in case it is stil active and also as consolidant. The nails were taken off and the detached part glued with joinert glue. The missing or lacunar parts of wood were completed with the same essence of wood or (depending of the type of lacuna) with a filling mixture based on paraffin, esterifyied colophony and EVA copolymer plus wood powder. The smaller lacunar areas were filled with a mixture of chalk and sturgeon glue. The cleaning of the painted areas was made with a solution based on Dimethylformamide and Toluene 1:3. The inside and the sides were cleaned with ammonium hydroxide 5% in distilled water. The fake number was removed with a powerful solvent (methanol and dichloromethane), and then replaced by the original one. The retouch was made both with aquarel and resin-oil paint. To varnish the whole surface it was used matt resin for oil paintings, from Maimeri.
