Icons on glass in the county Mure§ (Summary)

This works describes, in two parts, the glass painting history in Transylvania. The first part followings the Nicula icons spreading in the Mure§ county, refering to its tehnics and thematics and the peasants xylographs. Nicula in the first center of the folk glass painting manufactured and from here the arts of glass painting and xylographs irradiations in the others centers of Transylvania area.

In the next part of the study we'll research the icons originated from the the others centers of glass painters from Transylvania.
