ARCHAEOLOGICAL DIGGINGS AT PANIC „La Blocuri’ (Sälaj County) (Summary) In this article the author presents the results of the saving diggings, maked at Panic-„La Blocuri”. The excavation showed that the place was inhabitated in the Ill-rd-IV-th centuries A.D. and Vl-th-VII-th centuries A.D. Here we discovered an Early Medieval settlement too. Thia article presents only the Early Medieval discoveries, which consists of 2 dwellings, 1 pit and one oven. The most important archaeological item is pottery. In the dwelling nr. 1 we founded hand made pottery, slow wheel made pottery. In the dwelling nr.7 we founded just slow wheel made pottery. In the Pit A. we found hand made pottery, slow wheel pottery and fragments of hearth. In the oven we found slow wheel made pottery, fast wheel made pottery. The analogies of the pottery discovered at Panic-„La Blocuri”, are from the Vll-th-VIII/IX-th centuries in North-West Romania or Slovacia, and from VIII- th-IX-th centuries in Transilvania. The pottery discovered at Panic - „La Blocuri” can be dated in the end of the VIl-th-first half of the Vlll-th centuries.
