It was built in the first decade of the XIVth century. The building was finished in 1330 by Magister Thomas, the owner of the Reghin town and the neighbourhood. The church have romanic form with a basilical plan with three naves, but at the altar and the south-lateral nave are presents the Gothic forms. In 1708 and 1848 the church was burnt, suffering serious wearing down. It was rebuilt for several times, and this cause, the church lose the initial forms. It has remained some architectural and art elements, presents real artistical values. In the first line, we remark the west portal which contain Gothic elements from the end of XIVth century and the Gothic window, which have two expresive capitels, which are a rarity in Gothic art from Transylvania. Other details, like the two portals of the sacristy, the recess for stay or the recess for the cult objects made by stone and situate in the south wall of the altar, and the con-stand of spiral' stairs decorated with grapevine and bunchgrape are sculptural valuables thus caracterise the mature and old Gothic and realise the pass to the Renaissance.
