TYPES OF MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS FROM ROMAN DACIA (Summary) Medicine was practised in Dacia years before the Roman Conquest. Together with the Romans and their life-style, the Dacians adopted the Roman medicine too. They have dug up here in Dacia, all the known types of medical instruments used in the Roman Empire. In this article I have presented two categories of instruments: spatomella and specillum. These objects have been discovered in cities, villages and acstrums. Chronologically, we may place them between the 2ndand 3rd century.
