364 BÓNIS JOHANNA 20 GLASSWARE FROM TRANSSYLVANIA (17th - 19th) IN THE COLLECTION OF TÄRGU - MURES MUSEUM (Summary) The catalogue of feudal glass - work of Transsylvanian origin which belongs to the collection of the Museum from Targu - Mures offers for study and research the pieces of a rich and representative, but yet rather unknown collection. We tried to sketch up the principal stages of the history of Transsylvanian glass - work without an adequate exhaustion of the topic, insisting mainly on the achievements of the 17th and 19th centuries, as these periods are considered to be the flourishing ones of this craft. The analysis of the glass - styles, work - tehniques and that of the ornamentation is stressed upon the pieces that are exemplified in the catalogue as being present in the collection of the Museum.
