11 VILLA RUSTICA CELTO-ROMANA 85 Some 165 villae rusticae romanae have been discovered in Pannonia, surveyed by Edit Thomas-Moesia Inferior has been studied by Dimitur Nikolov. Some 50 villas have been surveyed. In Dacia, according to estimates, there are remains of ten such villas. The author underlines a characteristic feature of the Romanian cot­tage : the open corridor along its facade.
