Leaving for America, to look for better conditions of life and to earn their families’ living they are pointing out in New York Harbor in 1840. Nevertheless, their number was very small, comparatively with the other peoples or nations from Austro-Hungarian Empire, because Romanians were deeply in love with their country and because the pro-immigrant propaganda in Tran­silvania was at its beginnings.
