A The Hungarian humanitarian military unit helping the Irakian people On the last Sunday of September a Hungarian military humanitarian unit sta­tioned in Kuwait crossed the border into Irak. The twenty transport vehicles were loaded with non military supplies. The only fire power they had was for self defense.The government does not plan to alter any of the conditions under which Hungarian forces are doing their trans­portation tasks in Iraq in the wake of the terrorist attack on the Italian forces in Nasiriya, Minister of Defense Ferenc Juhasz said. The Hungarian transport bat­talion stationed in A1 Hillah, central Iraq, has completed over 120 deliveries and mn some 220,000 km, the command spokesperson told MTI on Thursday.
