We found this page about the Hungarian Beauty Contest that was held in New York in the elegant National Restaurant. Twentysix American Hungarian girls, all whom you see here, entered to compete for the Beauty Queen crown. Those who received the six leading places are shown in the line-up in the top row. At the right is the person who receive the most votes from the audience. Unfortunately we can’t show the pictures in full color. It would be worth getting a copy of the recent PANORAMA Magazine. You would also see more pictures of the contest, including the swimsuit competition. Magdolna Buda did an outstanding job organizing this event.
