The Inn at Longshore was chosen many-many years ago on part because it is a nice country style setting and on the other hand as one enters the park it is located in it resembles a Hungarian “kúria”. The road, a long drive, is lined by tall trees on both sides. One could imagine the fancy carriage drawn by four horses and sparks flying of their shoes as they slam down on the pebbles of the road. This time of the year, when the mercury still hits the freezing mark, it is a pleasant experience to walk into a place where people are inviting with warm welcome. Members of the Pannónia Club are there to help. Nelly Adamkovics, treasurer immediJudith Balogh, President of the Pannónia Club ately pulls out your tickets. This, Cafe Budapest Ball, is organized by the Pannónia Club for the passed 48-th year. With our officers and board members we are very proud that the Club could carry on this beautiful tradition into the 21-st century. We mainly prevailed through the years because we were supported from generation to generation by long-standing members and friends. I would like to take the opportunity to greet among us a founding member of this organization, Ancika Kiss. She is an outstanding example example for the support that the Club receives. She is present here with her son, József Kiss, who grew up in this Club and was Zita Balogh, Chairman of the 48th Cafe Budapest Ball Dr. László Molnár, Ambassador, General Consul of the Republic of Hungary at dinner with his wife Katalin (left) and Judith Balogh.
