100 YEARS (continued from page 1) JoeLucskay, organist, leading the senior choir, made sure that the church service moved along without any hesitation. The beautiful music and singing was a colorful addition to the event. The time between the service and the anniversary dinner was taken up by old friends meeting each other, reminiscing on memories, reliving the history of their favorite church. William J. Hevesy dedicating the Chief Elder’s plaque. The dinner took place at the Giordano II restaurant in Darien. The dining hall was filled to capacity and it was nice to see all the guests who came for this occasion to participate in the celebration. Besides pastors from our immediate area there were some from New York, New Jersey, Canada, Indiana. Rev. Albert Kovács from Woodbridge, NJ, General Secretary, represented the Calvin Synod. All the ministers brought the best wishes of their congregations. The church organizations also made their own contributions to commemorate the 100th Anniversary. The Anniversary Album published for the celebration gives a detailed history of the church, plays tribute to its ministers, Elders, and organizations. Without having a minister at this time in South Norwalk, we must praise the 100th Anniversary Committee for the outstanding work they did to make this event an outstanding one, a beautiful one, filled with continued Advanced Electronic Systems Co.
