Nothing is perfect yet we like better and better qualities; and especially in science we are witnessing tremendous success. While in technology there are possibilities to make better products, today some artificial materials have better qualities than the natural ones, yet in terms of human behavior and social relationships we do not make that advancement that can be expected. Do we dare to men­tion our spiritual life? Is our life more honest, decent, faithful, and gentle than that of our forefathers? Do more people pray, attend church, practice charity, and show kindness nowadays than they did fifty or hundred years ago? NICER or PRETTIER. Ladies, here you have the final word. Do not you like whatever is beautiful (you are beautiful too) pretty, attractive, and appealing? How poorer we would be with­out art? Can anyone create such beauty as Mother Nature? See a perfectly designed butterfly, a gorgeous sunset, a blooming flower, amazing fish in the deep sea and who can compete with God’s artistic talent? Ladies you know how to decorate your love nest and how to set the table for a dinner with fine china, flowers, candles, and sparkling silverware and in such a setting every bite tastes more delicious. EASIER. How much we like this word when it refers to tests in school, physical labor in the coal mine or factory, the fam­ily problems we should solve, as well as the treatment of and re­covery from a serious illness. Laborers wish to have easier life, work less and earn more; the citizens wish to pay less taxes and have more government sponsored programs. Have you ever tried to put together a toy or gadget following the instruction manual translated from Chinese or Japanese? How much we like this HHHHHbbbb. Most of us consider ourselves educated and free to do whatever we feel like to and we know how to take care of our business. However, look around and ask: as free citizens are we really free from restricting social customs, ethical guidelines, reli­gious teachings, and family traditions; and have not we at the very same time subjugated ourselves to temptations and illicit proce­dures to make a fast buck? The opposite of greed is modesty or as the Bible says contentment. See our text. Let us see Apostle Paul’s testimony in this respect: “for I have learned to be content what­ever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” Philippians 4:11-12, and our Lord said about himself: “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” Matthew 8:20. May the innocence of each child remind us of the joy of sharing Your love. May the caroling of each bird remind us to sing Your praises. May the majesty of each sunrise remind us to shine in Your light. May the beauty of each flower remind us Jesus lives and is Lord of Life. And it's good. OBITUARIESJeruselem Calvary Jesus Christ, 33, of Nazareth, died Friday on Mount Calvary, also known as Golgotha, the place of the skull, Betrayed by the apostle Judas, Jesus was cruc fled by the Romans by order of the Ruler Pontius Pilate. £§g The causes of death were crucifixion;' - extreme exhaustion, severe torture, j , and loss of blood. Jesus Christ, a descendant of Abraham was a member of the house of David. He was the Son of the late Joseph, a carpenter of Nazareth, and Mary, His devoted Mother. Jesus was born in a stable in the city of Bethlehem, Judea. He is survived by His mother Mary, His faithful Apostles, numerous disciples, and many other followers. Jesus was self educated and spent most of his adult life working as a Teacher Jesus also occasionally worked as a Medical Doctor and it is reported that he healed many patients. Up until the time of His death, Jesus was teaching and sharing the Good News healing the sick, touching the lonely, feeding the hungry, and helping the poor. Jesus was most noted for telling parables about His Father's Kingdom and performing miracles, such as feeding over 5,000 people with only five loaves of bread and two fish, and healing a man who was oorn blind. On the day before His oeath, He held a Last Supper celebrating the Passover Feast, at which He foretold His death. The body was quickly bured in a stone grave, which was donated by Joseph of Arimathea, a loyal friend of the family. By order of Pontius Pilate, a boulder was rolled in front of the tomb. Roman soldiers were put on guard. In lieu of flower*, the family has requested that everyone try to live as Jesus did. Donations may be sent to anyone in need
