STEVE BODNAR Rambler Editor 2949 E. 128 St. Cleveland, Ohio June 1, 1938 To the Pastor: We are enclosing herewith a letter to the Young People of your congregation, an announcement to be posted., an instruction sheet, a copy of the conference hymn and registration blank for the Twelfth Annual Conference of the Hungarian Christian Endeavor Union of America. Will you kindly forward the material to the proper officers of your young people’s group. We earnestly ask all pastors to cooperate with us in bringing our annual conference to the attention of all young people. We are enclosing a tentative program of the conference in outline form. The pastors are particularly urged to encourage the registration of those young people who would derive the most benefit from this conference and who would be most apt to provide inspiration and leadership in the group. The Executive Committee, at its last meeting, recommended that all delegates return to the homes to which they have been assigned by 12:00 midnight. Pastors and C. E. groups are also requested to send only those delegates who are willing to take part in all sessions of the conference and cooperate in every way. Hence, they recommend that compulsory attendance be inaugurated at the conference. To this end, we would welcome suggestions from the pastors as to what methods might be employed in promoting such attendance. In the hope of receiving your suggestions and being able to greet you all at the conference, we remain Respectfully yours, HUNGARIAN C. E. UNION OF nMERICA Frank Szabó, President Enel.-6 By Corres. tary P.S. Please address all communications to 546 S. West End Ave., Detroit, Michigan.
