PERTH AMBOY, NJ November and December are the two most busiest months of the year. These are the months when our activities and preparations for the holidays reach the stage of excitement. In November we look back to another successful Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by the church and prepared by our ladies. Participation was great, and breaking the bread together reminded us that we are all brothers and sisters of each other and loved equally by our Heavenly Father. On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22nd, Special Thanksgiving Service was held. On December 2nd, according to our church traditions, the Holy Communion was observed at both worship services. Starting at 12:00 Noon the Great Christmas Bazaar was held in our Church Center. Attendance was very good — some had to stand in line outside the building until some room was found for them to fit in. On Dec. 16th a special Christmas Cantata was presented by our church Choir with the congregation participating, and in the afternoon our children’s Christmas program invited back the members of our church. Beside the activities, regular worship services, and twice a week Bible hours were held.
