With the coming of the new year, we restarted our Bible studies, and hope that the interest will grow, and many of our members will come and search the scripture with us. On February 18, our assistant student minister conducted the worship service on Underground Evangelism, on which subject a movie was showed at an affair (social) in the church hall which was sponsored by the Fellowship Circle. In remembrance of the 32nd Anniversary of the Women’s Guild the members received Holy Communion together and it gave us great pleasure to see amongst us the loving mate of our former pastor Rev. Dr. Charles Vincze’s wife who originally organized this group. During the period of Lent, our church participates with other Protestant churches in the Mid-week lenten services. Since the month of December the delegates of the five churches are working on the plan. On March 15th, the Senior Citizens of the five churches met for their regular monthly get-together at our church. More than 100 persons were present. After lunch Ft. György Mészáros spoke about the war of Independence of 1848. The program was concluded by Mrs. Ada Hodory showing slides she took in Hungary. We are continuing our Hungarian Radio Broadcast. Our services may be heard every Sunday morning at 8 A.M. on WYFM, 103 FM dial from Sharon, Pa. We ask everyone who is unable to attend church services to listen to this program. On March 11th, the congregation with a family supper remembered the 15th anniversary of the pastor’s service in Youngstown. I would like to extend my thanks to all those who worked on the supper, who attended the supper and for the gifts received.
